So, basically HBM or what?

Thank god I didn't jump to Maxwell! I can wait less then 2 years for Pascal!!!! PC Master race!

very nice, but the board is so small its gonna look horrible in a full tower case.

So is the module he's holding in his hand there using a PCI-E interface? He says it's smaller than PCI-E but I'm not sure if he's talking about the physical card or the interface.
I wonder how they're going to cool something with stacked memory modules too. But I guess memory doesn't really tend to get as hot as a processor.

Fuck Maxell, Lets just wait for Pascal, it's looks way better

I have a question. Since Nvidia is a fabless company, how do they design 3D stacked memories and manufacture it? I can understand how they would design their own routing, but I just don't understand the rest.

The word "bits" seems so untechnical 🙂
So did the word wafer. I like the playful nature of some PC parts.

So they are making it sound like their similar budget Pascal GPU will be 4x the performance of the GTX 750 ti at about the same wattage. I say this, because they said it'll be 4x more efficient. I hope there will be ample RAM in that card and definitely not just 2 gigs. If this is true, PC gaming might lead the industry, if it stays on top

This thing is going to drive Artificial intelligence forward big time. Think your little siri or google now is an interesting thing to play around with? Just wait. We'll be getting REAL AI soon.

This is so awesome… good thing i've been holding off upgrading my computer till Volta recently, now i'm holding off till pascal instead I guess, and seems like I won't have any regrets for waiting an extra year or 2 to upgrade from my 670 and old 32nm i7,

Look at the smile he makes when he says "gaming pc's". He knows that gamers are full of shit; something to make fun of.

So many people say that there cards are expensive, you are not supposed to be buying the Titan series or Tesla for gaming! the 780 ti can run any game on the highest settings and it is pretty cheap for being able to do that.

This just got real!
Pascal is a very interesting concept, the thought of ditching PCIe for it couldn't be the end goal. If it was, then they will have a few more problems with implementation.
I always like Nvidia for their approach to SLI and still don't know why AMD pushed crossfire right into the… crossfire?

I will always back a CPU, but if Nvidia dev'd a motherboard & an independent CPU that performs all tasks as well as it would with parallelization. Software would have to change drastically before it's viable.

It sounds to me like Pascal is a super switch for improving upon SLI and the replacing the standard, PCIe interface. I wish he would have elaborated on the hardware implementation.

Can't wait for Pascal to be released in 2016. Can't figure out why they changed the name from Volta to Pascal though 😛

So how do two Titan Blacks cost $2000. But 2 in one card cost $3000. That makes sense Nvidia (sarcasm). Now I remember why I like AMD, they don't screw their consumer
