I was literally 1 day away from buying an MSI motherboard and graphics card. These plans are now on hold.
I got a 3070 ventus 3x for retail, I’ve been seeing MSI in stock a lot lately.
I returned my MSi card and went with EVGA. I won’t buy MSI from now on. EVGA has handled it great with their queue system.

I’ve heard that they made their partner either give the people full refund and cancel the order or a partial refund so the purchaser can only get charged msrp
MSI appears to have sold cards through Dell and Amazon for around $900, with a Dell employee saying in a customer chat that the price was set by the manufacturer. So basically they are still doing it and getting away with it.

The drivers for their board sucks, still to this day I cannot get my 4th memory slot to work. Customer Service claimed it's my CPU, and then I see a bunch of people with the same issue. So basically you just get a bad board and its bank for them and sucks for you. Next build wont be MSI.

Wow! For the last 10 years I’ve been buying MSI exclusively for GPU’s. I’ve always liked their quiet operation and their Afterburner fan control…. was looking forward to eventually getting 3080…. not anymore… going to have to look at other alternatives.
MSI North America retail “partners” and they don’t even have double digit stock of 3080’s at “launch”? Nvidia is just as much to blame as the scalpers for this shit show.
