The only thing worth upgrading to at this point is a qd oled one thing I notice when lg push these panels brighter some of the colors get a bit washed out which does not happen on a qd oled.
Do people change TV every one or two years??
Got a b9 (because it had a smaller stand which did fit on my pretty TV wooden stand) and very happy with it. I’d wait at least 5-6 years before changing TV but perhaps it’s just me.
Unless there is a breakthrough new technology that makes this current OLED generation obsolete.

Bought a used open box Lg c1 55 on Amazon. The previous owner didn’t register it, so I registered it and got the warranty. So basically got a new LG c1 for 1000

I'm only like 2 years with my C9 and I can't imagine how much better it can get with these newer models. And I don't know why I keep teasing myself watching these videos when I know I won't be upgrading for another few years
The battle will commence between LG G2 vs Sony QD-OLED TV, which has a much better colour volume and similar brightness levels. I think once people see the Sony A95K, it'll be hard to go back to normal OLEDs. LG now has competition in its hands!

I’m getting the C1 77 this year it’s going to look absolutely awesome playing PS5 games ⭐️
Just using the video provided here it is hard to find any distinguishing difference between the C2 and G2, at least to my eyes. The C1 vs C2 however is easier to see that the C2 looks brighter. That said the additional brightness seems to wash out detail in some areas compared to the C1. Gotta say if going for a 2022 LG model I would have to pick the C2 as based on this video I don’t see any difference making it better to jump to the G2. But not knowing 2022 pricing yet, and assuming there will be a price hike over the 2021 models, the C1 is still looking to be a winner.
The 42" C2 chassis appears fairly thick … But Unless you spend most of your time viewing your TV from the side or the back this shouldn't b an issue!!

I'm not a fan of how bright the C1 is & had to drop the backlight to 80 which seems to match the CX at 90 which I also set the backlight to 80 as it's my gaming TV. How much lower would I have to drop the C2 to match?
