It sort of spun off by your comments on my MacBook Air video, because I get it, not all of you want a Mac. Not all of you edit video, and you also want another good alternative to a functional ecosystem. The problem is that the Windows world is complicated, mainly because there’s so much variety, and each company has a different approach to value. They’re either really cheap and compromised, or the premium sector is split between gaming computers and Ultrabooks. Once you pick that, you realize that starting price that got you to click is BS because the computer is only worth it if you spend MacBook kind of money. Now, the reason why I did the research is because after my hands-on experience with Samsung’s Galaxy Book 360, what struck me most was just how balanced the offer was for the price. Aside from one example I found from HP which I could review later, I looked at Microsoft, Dell, and others, only to realize that in almost everything, this might just be the best bang for the buck Windows computer you can buy. It’s not perfect, of course, but the tricks that make it unique might just be enough to win you over. I’m Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow, and let’s dive in to our full review. @Jamie How about an updated review for the 2022 version? Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro
I agree with your comments about ecosystems, having seen the brilliance of owning a iPhone, Apple Watch, Air Pods Pro, and a Mac, But I still need Windows at work. Sadly, no one has solved the Windows and iPhone dilemma that the majority of us are in.
Thanks for this. With my fondness for Samsung phones I think this will be the replacement for my Lenovo Yoga 720 which is still running great but has a cracked screen …
Love this laptop but…can,t find how to buy it if I don't live in USA or Korea. It seems like Samsung is not interested in selling them worldwide
great vid by you I am MacBook Pro 2019 user and looking for a new laptop for uni I have already ruled out MacBook Pro 2021and have set my mind on galaxy book pro 360 13' can you advise me my best option pls thanks
I picked up a gently used 15.6" version of the GB Pro 360 (16gb/1TB) last week for $800, worth every penny and then some. Enabling Dolby Atmos helps with sound quality a lot, and I think it's great that you can increase the brightness by quite a bit by going into the Intel Graphics app and upping the default brightness. My only gripe is with the webcam, but then again, that's usually my main gripe for all laptops – so par for the course. It's extremely light and portable, that's my favorite part about it.
Problem with these machines: the aspect ratio is not very great with 16:9 and it has no hdmi. You need a dongle to use it in any professional manner.
Otherwise it is really a fine machine, especially the battery life is really impressive.
For some reasons it seems that this laptop isn't officially brought to Malaysia. Pity.
what's the real battery life?
apple su…cks !
I could not agree with you more regarding the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360. I am in the market to replace my current Windows Laptop PC with a current model sporting a 11th generation Core Intel Evo platform. Based on my requirements, I have selected three models, Microsoft Surface Pro 8, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 and Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch. Any of these models would be a fantastic new purchase. But the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 clicked all the requirement boxes for me with additional features and design that was above the three selected laptop PCs.
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch with 16 gigabyte of memory and 1 terabyte of storage. What did I find about the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 that edged it above the other laptops I considered? First, Samsung’s Ecosystem with the best integration for my Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab along with my Galaxy Watch and Samsung M7 32-inch Smart monitor. Specific Samsung software truly adds to a better user experience vs just being bloatware to ignore. Second, Samsung’s Super AMOLED 15-inch display with touch and pen support. The display is in a word, beautiful to watch streaming content and wonderful to perform work on. When it comes to pen and inking support for Windows, I rank Samsung’s S-Pen the best of the best. The S-Pen is included in the box (a full-size pen) with the Galaxy Book Pro 360, which feeds into the value proposition over the competition. Also, the Samsung S-Pen does not require charging is a huge plus for my requirements. Third is value with comparable configuration of the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6. The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch is $400 to $500 less expensive than either my selected PCs of the Surface Pro 8 and ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6.
For my requirements I found the comparable PCs I selected would have been superb personal computing solutions as well, because they are all premium well-designed high-quality thin and light PCs. But Samsung’s Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch edged out the competition. The overall thin and light design, build quality, features, price, performance and Samsung Galaxy ecosystem. Dare I say the best thin and light 2&1 laptop for 2021?
Great video.. Does anyone know if this is decent for video editing?
Got mine maxed out 13.5 inch open box. What a bargain since some users are too picky to enjoy this ultra thin premium powerhouse. Only typical drawbacks, gets hottie hot when stressing the cpu and would love a magnet charger. May need to get one of those adapters that does that.
5 months later I'm curious what your thoughts are compared to the competition? I do graphic and video editing as well as music production and the larger and higher pixel resolution screen the better for me… I do have a desktop for a lot of my heavy music production needs… but will be buying the best laptop I can get and very very intrigued by the 2 and 1 Samsung Galaxy Pro 360. Recently purchased the S21 phone and S4 watch so the environment could be an added plus to workflow. Is this the one for me??? If only it came in a 17" with a higher pixel resolution!
I'm going consider this. Thank you

Hi, seems that Samsung Galaxy Book doesnt have port replicator? So how if I want to work with multiple external display? Do I use the usb-c or wireless monitor connection?
nice cappuccino
My Sony is on it's way out after nearly 10 years and I have been thinking about getting a new laptop…
This looks pretty good along with the actual laptop standard version… in two mind of which to get, having a note phone being able to send stuff each way is a huge bonus
Wonder how many of these devices get stolen in coffee shops.
Your reviews are always super helpful, i love your channel!
By any chance do you know about any update on the 5G vertion?
Something about this review made it feel as though you were sponsored by Samsung, even though you never said that you were. Just by an earlier comment that you made, it is clear to me that you didn't look too deep into computers by competitive companies like HP. The HP Envy x360 15t-ed100 touch, for example, offers a better processor, the same graphics, a bigger SSD, a higher resolution screen, and many more I/O ports (granted without the addition of the Thunderbolt port) than the Galaxy Book Pro 360.
Windows 10 Pro?
I need help with ALT Keys. I live in Puerto Rico, so we use à, ñ, etc. The ALT Keys of this laptop does not function like other PC's.
Help.
I need a cover for it. This is my first time I've ever used a thin and modern laptop.
Well "best" if youre ok with it breaking for no reason after 6 wks! $500 repair. Takes forever and still sent back broken…..do i sound bitter….should have learned from my crap Samsung TV 10 yrs ago which still today has to be held together with packing tape! CAUTION
Been looking at this one. Thanks
There’s a lot to like about the laptop. The Evo chipset seems ideal, because the computer runs cool and fast.
It does show fingerprints awfully bad, though. The deal breaker for me though is that 6 weeks after getting it, the screen cracked. $450 repair, and Samsung support is chaotic and say, well SOL. I’m mad and upset. I baby my devices and have never broken one. When I first got it, the lid felt way to light and fragile, and now I got exactly that, a money pit. Reminds me of my 10yr old $2600 flatscreen from Samsung. It burned out within a few weeks. Though they repaired it, the case never went back together and to this day has to be held together with packing tape. No more Samsung products for me!
I love it. I need to get it soon.
Why don't they make it usable in Android(Upgradable / downgradable) mode while using tablet mode?
Thank you for the review. I am in the market for a Samsung laptop that will help keep continuity with all my Samsung products…
I am a simple guy that just needs a simple laptop that performs the basics. Goes online, can operate Microsoft products, surf the web, maybe watch a few Netflix and YouTube videos and call it a day…..
I am not looking for a video editor or anything with high capacity…. lol
Is there anything you can recommend? Thanks in advance….
i think this will be my next laptop.it meets most of my needs.thanks for a very good review.
Productivity with a 16×9 aspect ratio screen? Deal breaker for me.
Just a heads up. Palm rejection is disabled by default on the newest windows update. Double check your settings!!!
“I would have given up the numerical key pad for up firing speakers” I only bought this because it has the 10 key
Samsung is better than china’s brands.
I am considering a new Samsung Galaxy Book. I currently own the first Gen on the Galaxy Books. I preferred the tab like feature and it's easy to write on surface. I hope they will bring a similar product in the future possibly with their Tab line. I love the eco system they have with my Note8 and frontier watch. I run Adobe and MS Office software on it and does the job. I create website on the side and I can take it on the go with it having its own SIM. I am looking into becoming a digital nomad and this computer is solid. A little glitchy at times but good all around except the speakers which I use headphones all the time anyway. Waiting on the 5G version to drop.
How is the computer with video games?
BUT SAMSUNG 360 HAS LESS PPI AND LESS RESOLUTION THN THE LED DISPLAY OF MAC AIR. SO IT'S A WASTE TO PUT AMOLED THAT IS LESS PRODUCTIVE THN MBA
I love my LG Gram 17
I am an engineering student with a surface pro 7. I am really not happy with it due to heat issus after longer periods of writing on it. Does the Samsung 360 have this problem too?
