Miles Brandon and the Smilage Guarantee earns the First Ever Endorsement given out by the Homework Guy Team of a car dealership. San Juan Capistrano Volkswagen and Mazda are refusing to charge mark-ups on their cars. We are encouraging our viewers to travel from across the country to support this dealership. Facebook: Twitter: Instagram: Rumble: Odysee: Bitchute: The Homework Guy Team publishes videos to help Car Buyers. We don’t hate Car Dealerships. Instead, we represent Car Buyers, a goal that’s often in direct conflict with Car Dealer goals. A CAR DEALER WANTS TO: 1. SELL every car for the Highest Possible Price. 2. CONVINCE Car Buyers to use Dealer affiliated Lenders / Banks. 3. LOAD every Car Deal full of Fees and Finance Products. 4. OFFER Lowball numbers on every Trade Vehicle. THE HOMEWORK GUY TEAM (THG) HELPS CAR BUYERS TO: 1. BUY a Car from Dealers or Private Party Sellers at the Lowest Price. 2. PAY Cash or Finance with their own Bank or Credit Union. 3. DECLINE Dealer Fees and Finance Products. 4. TRADE / SELL their current vehicle for the Best Value. For more than 40 years, dealerships have EARNED their bad reputations by being the masters of predatory selling. They stalk victims relentlessly, often ruthlessly treating the most vulnerable car buyers (like seniors, for example) with little or no conscience. Car Dealers and their Finance Officers have no problem creating financial devastation for their customers with over bloated car loans, and often do. While the business has had record setting profits, Dealers never stop telling Car Buyers “We’re losing money!” That’s the bed Car Dealers custom built for themselves. We point out the traps and the flaws of the process, and help car buyers get by all the nonsense without being ripped off. We promote fairness, honesty, and transparency, and we’d love to see a few dealers join our mission! Unfortunately, he said nothing I haven't heard a million times from all the other crooks. The smile is the only difference. Most smile while you are bent over. I'm 61 years old and I don't care "what they say" your screwed. I have a ton of experience purchasing vehicles, but nothing but lip service, they may make you feel good on one thing, but trust me they are going to get you good in the end!! Understood, they need to make money, but greed always takes over, because there are so many uneducated car buyers, that's where what your doing comes in and believe me it helps a ton!! Today's times are terrible and GREED is worse then ever!!! I appreciate you posting a positive video, but…….
Please get well soon. God bless!

I probably know better than others what a wonderful dealership Capistrano VW Mazda is, cause I have bought three cars in the last year from Miles Brandon’s dealership (right, what car shortage eh). I’ve gotten to know Miles over the years as I own a coffee shop in town Miles frequent and I can tell you, you will not meet a more genuine, honest, caring, loving human being that happens to also sells cars. I’m honored to call Miles friend and would go to bat for this guy, just like he does for his customers and employees daily. Keep up the good work Elizabeth and Kevin. And continual prayers for your recovery

I can't think of a single dealer in the Milwaukee, WI area who doesn't charge more than they should. My last two car purchases were one at invoice (2012) and another just under invoice (2019).

Hey, I’m getting ready to start looking for a new car. Do I really get a good deal by using a car buying service? Or can I get a better deal on my own?

Since my truck was giving out, I had no choice but to buy recently. Reliable Mazda in Springfield, MO is doing their customers fair. I don't endorse just any business, but this business could have TRIED, but didn't, to mess with their customers.

Let these dealers ROT in hell in the future for taking advantage of markups.

Reply

I work for Mercedes Benz in Washington state and we only charge a markup for customers trying to purchase from across the country.. we try to maintain the little inventory we have for the surrounding states only and don’t charge a markup. The dealers charging markups will lose all trust and relationships with their clients

KO 25/02/2022 - 6:01 Chiều

The mark ups drive me crazy. A dealer has a contract with the manufacturer. The manufacturer can’t supply enough vehicles so they hit the consumer. The consumer had nothing to do with it. I will never buy a car from a dealership that does the mark ups. I have recently bought 2 new cars, both at just under sticker.

Becuse of this video I will be purchasing and servicing my next VW from San Juan Capistrano VW. I live 1O min from a VW dealer and hour from San Juan Capistrano. It will be worth the drive to support a dealer who isn’t profiteering. By contrast, my local Ford dealer is adding 20,000 on top of MSRP for a 22 F250.

Honest & non-greedy car dealership? That's like finding a unicorn these days. I wish we had one like that out here by me, average car prices are around $4K above MSRP.

Here in Louisville Kentucky used Toyota Camrys are literally selling for above original msrp with 50k to 80k miles. 1yro to 3 yro XSE and XLE models for some reason are selling over $30k. I have noticed watching carfax and autotrader that dealers selling the LE and SE Camrys have had to start lowering the prices back down because they aren't selling. These cars have way over 100k miles. For some reason car lots see Toyota Camrys as atm machines. I believe people are waking up because some are not selling and dealers are finally get their a wake up call lower prices or you won't sell the camrys.

A Chevrolet dealer here in Virginia had a 2022 Corvette coupe with an MSRP of $95,000. They had a FIFTY GRAND (!) "market adjustment" on the car……..and yes, it was already sold. A customer from Texas was flying in to pick it up.

Recently I have been shopping prices at various dealers in the DC area. I have checked with BMW, Audi, and MB dealers. All are selling at MSRP plus a FAKE doc fee which means a bit over MSRP ($500 in MD and $799 in VA).

I have not bought and I won't until prices drop below MSRP. One BMW I was interested in has been on the dealer lot of nearly three months. One would think this dealer would have some incentive to sell the vehicle for 2 or so percent MSRP just to move the vehicle. It is apparent customers are not lining up to buy this vehicle.

Comical that we have reached a point where we admire dealers for simply selling for sticker which they haven't done for decades.

Hopefully, we all remember the avaricious greed most dealers have exhibited this past couple of years when prices inevitably drop.

Great content and awesome dealership! A learning moment for the unscrupulous other dealers charging 5k+ over MSRP. Valuable lesson is coming in the future when the market turns and nobody comes back to those dealers who chose max profit over everything. Only a matter of time… ⏳
