I tried to sign up for life insurance with a company I saw on the CGF blog some months ago but I was denied, probably because I have sickle cell disease. From what your guest said, A1C and tobacco use could be one of the reasons why people are denied, but why deny people with illnesses if they're not currently ill or if the disease is being managed quite well. It's confusing. Smh

I so agree life insurance as well as disability insurance is so important. This was the wedding gift my husband and I gave to each other when we married 14 years ago now. We choose term return the premium because it was affordable and we wanted to be able to invest for ourselves. About 4 years ago I founded the prospect for the whole life policy we had considered and I was pleasantly surprised to see we were doing better than the prospect. If you invest that difference you truly can be successful. Thank you Bola as always this is needed great information. Stay safe

Life insurance is a contract between an insurance policy holder and an insurer or assurer, where the insurer promises to pay a designated beneficiary a sum of money in exchange for a premium, upon the death of an insured person
